Norway looks set to become the first country in the world to only sell fully electric private cars. EVs already make up nearly 95 per cent of the market, and a self-imposed 2025 deadline to reach 100 per cent looks likely to be met. In comparison, EV sales in much of the rest of Europe has been sluggish and in Germany it’s even fallen. So how did the Norwegians do it? I went to Oslo for Inside Europe on Deutsche Welle to find out.
